I will take your word for it. But I hate to break it to you, but Houston is filled with Yankees. Heck my brother lived there for a time. He quite enjoyed it. By the way, Houston reminds me more of LA than any other city in the US (age, architecture in and around downtown, car dependent, poor traffic conditions, etc), sans the beach and mountains.
We know about Houston. It's the most liberal city in Texas.
