If you are having car problems on Dallas highways (overheating, no gas, flat tire, etc.), call Courtesy Patrol at 214-320-4444 and they will try to route a Courtesy Patrol truck to you. I love it! In New Orleans, you would just get your car stripped . . . by the cops but Dallas is running a Courtesy Patrol . . . On second thought, it must be racist or something.

I once ran out out gas in Beaumont, Texas coming back from Florida. A very nice female cop stopped to help, drove me to a gas station and drove back to my car. Texas is a very friendly place.
