steve lyons on TWC now - he says its going to weaken, to a 4 or perhaps to a 3 by landfall, saying that outflow on the western side of the storm is being blocked.
We can't leave. My elderly parents are staying and my brother will be working, so someone has to be here to drag them out of the bayou. :-/
