My parents are in Victoria, don't know what they're going to do. How old are they? Victoria will probably suffer extensive tree damage and some structural damage at the least. They may be looking at weeks without power. Can your parents cope with that?

TXCN is reporting that Galveston buses are now shuttling people out of the area from a local community center (need to call first to make a reservation and to give your requirements).
You *can* take your pets with you on these buses, so long as they are crated.
Isn't it nice to live in a state with a plan and the means and willingness to execute it?
