I'll say it once again; hard as it may sound, I'm sick of hearing about NO and Katrina.
Katrina was NOT the first ever hurricane to hit this country and the rest of us have managed to SURVIVE for decades without losing our minds in THREE DANG DAYS.
And to the reporters out there who may be lurking: No, Texas is NOT preparing now "in light of what happened in New Orleans." They are doing it because that is what we ALL do every single time, you dolts.
Texas does seem to have it all together. I have been impressed by Texas for 3 weeks now!
Right on girl! When Ophelia came through last week that was all we heard. Unlike New Orleans, we know what how to prepare and we don't worry about looting afterwards either.
"Texas is NOT preparing now "in light of what happened in New Orleans." "
Careful now, you're dimming the spot light on that dynamic Mensa duo in LA.
Bravo! And I agree with you, completely.
The media will probably treat the blizzards as a New Ice Age.
Speaking of reporters, is it just me or do the on-location reporters seem to be trying real hard for some kind of award? I mean, holy crap, they have this tone that they have to exclamate each word when talking about Katrina and now pending Rita.
CUT IT WITH THE DRAMA CLASS BULLCRAP AND JUST GIVE US THE FACTS AND LATEST INFO, WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU GUYS!
bump!
All except for Louisiana. And history will record that.
