Saw a post from sinkspur in heavy type saying not to stop in the DFW area because we could get 50-70 mph winds HERE...
WTH..when did this talk start? I watched Troy Dungan last night and the said we MIGHT get 35 mph winds and some rain!!

Dang....I haven't heard that! I figure on losing power. We do if there is a strong breeze....but 70mph winds??? Yikes is right!
What makes Dungan think Rita will be different?
I prefer to err on the high side. There aren't any hotel rooms available anyway.

Are you listening to the lady (with kids in background) in DFW who is not leaving cause her hubby (cop) has to go to work at 6 p.m.? She was crying. Now that's a cop.
Makes me disgusted that so many NO cops left; I think of that cop they interviewed saying he had a choice to make and he left with his family... wonder if his wife and kids were stuck there and he wasn't around would he respect someone leaving and not trying to save her?
