IN the battle of the sexes it may be time for a truce. A study has found that the differences between men and women have been vastly overestimated.
The study was prompted by the perception that men and women think differently about the world and their place in it as characterised in bestselling books such as Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus.

According to these stereotypes boys, for example, are better at maths than girls, she said. Research shows that because of this, mathematically talented girls may be overlooked by teachers and parents.
That's really scientific. /s

I think, on a moral playing field, men and women are what they are and may very well hold the same views overall, whatever those views may be. However, when it comes to applying those views or moreso, how you handle the world around you according to your views, you are going to see a huge divergence between sexes.
A woman who sees a friend 'in need' will actively seek her out to offer her help, be there for whatever may be needed and repeatedly make sure her friend is aware of this. A man in the same place with a friend in need will just know that if he's needed for something, the other guy just knows he's there. No emotionality needed.
That is just a teeny speck on the differences between men and women and I, for one, am sick to death of people trying to make us all the same. We're not the same and Thank you God for that.

Anyone who doesn't believe that there are major differences between the way men and women think should read either "Brain Sex" by Mohr and Jessel or "Eve's Rib" by Robert Poole. Most people who don't read anything except the latest lottery numbers still don't believe leftist academics with an agenda. This coincides with some report put out recently by rad-feminists purporting to show that the only reason females are so underrepresented in the upper echelons of math and science is severe discrimination...by evil, nasty white males. Facts mean nothing to these people. They arrive at conclusions before doing the experiment.

Keith Laumer (deceased sci-fi author) quote:
"Retief, you claim there's two types of Terrans, males and females. But frankly, you all look the same to me."
"Oh, there's a vas deferens between us," Retief assured him.
Cheers!

When MAFM/WAFV was 'hot', my wife & I decided to read & discuss the book while we were driving on a vacation. After about three chapters she stated that the author needed to turn his pants around so that the zipper was in the front.

Yep, I miss Keith Laumer, Retief and the CDT, and those tantalizing sulphurated gribble-grubs.
"Retief, tell me the truth. They aren't ugly, are they?"
The Groaci had no appreciation for female pulchritude. But then, they were from another planet!
