I was a little disappointed when I read the body of this post - I thought the headline said they discovered the first mullet - I assumed they simultaneously discovered the first trailer park. j/k

Archaeological discoveries show that the main cereals, including wheat, barley, rice and maize all originated 10,000 to 8,000 years ago. Makes it sound like someone just waved their hand and brought the main cereals into existence a few thousand years ago. You don't suppose .... naaaaaaah! But then again ...

Yeah, mullet's a fish. Didn't need to be refridgerated like a lot of modern favorite fish - just salted, so mullet-fishing was a livliehood for very poor fisherman before long refridgeration. Not much money in it, but I'm alive and Scotch-Irish because of it.
