You've no idea how many women are suffering from a quite extraordinary case of LIHOM (Legend In Her Own Mind) syndrome, and believe that they are God's gift to the Male species. It would be funny in a bizarre sort of way if it were not so sadly depressing at the same time. But yet, WE males are the problem! If I had a dime for every time I listened to a female discussing the breakup of her last relationship and was telling her friends: "Well, we MIGHT be able to get back together someday, but he has to change."
Sometimes I literally had to turn away and leave the room quickly before they realized that the muffled choking sounds I was attempting so mightily to suppress was in actuality Incredulous Laughter! And they totally believed that there was NOTHING wrong with such a belief!
