I had a choice between marrying a man who made $200 a month in income and another who made over $2,000. Come on, at some point a woman does think about how a man can provide for her and their children.
and justifiably so. I do not understand why anyone would think that income isn't a consideration in a marriage (notice I said A consideration). Amusingly enough, I was unemployed at the time I proposed to my wife of 29 years. Clearly she did not marry me for my money.
