September 14, 2005 A Fatal Incuriosity By MAUREEN DOWD
I hate spending time in hospitals and nursing homes. I find them to be some of the most depressing places on earth.
Maybe that's why the stories of the sick and elderly who died, 45 in a New Orleans hospital and 34 in St. Rita's nursing home in the devastated St. Bernard Parish outside New Orleans, haunt me so.
You're already vulnerable and alone when suddenly you're beset by nature and betrayed by your government.

Well, I'm sure that if Mayor Nagin had called president Bush and asked, Bush would have been happy to fly down to NO and drive one of those buses that the Mayor left sitting in 2 feet of water instead of using them to evacuate the poor. He could have swung by the nursing home as well.

I hate spending time in hospitals and nursing homes.Better pray that any children or relatives you may have don't feel the same way when YOU are confined to one, former Michael Douglas sperm dumpster....

What a vile, disgusting, hate-filled piece of excrement. After reading the Molly Ivins post, I don't know which of these two harpies is worse. I wonder which one will self-immolate first.

You're already vulnerable and alone when suddenly you're beset by nature and betrayed by your government.Yeah, it's always the Government's fault first and foremost, especially under a Republican president.

Is this the same nursing home where the parish emergency guy blamed Bush for not saving a co-workers mother for 4 days when in fact she died 4 days earlier and the co-worker, a deputy, did not go rescue his own mother, but told her she was on her own?
That nursing home?

I can't believe my eyes!!!!! Doesn't poor dumb Maureen know we know the truth of what happened in New Orleans? She is so full if it that if I ever saw her I'd have to slap some of it out of her!

MoDo's idiocy knows no bounds.
She goes out of her way to prove it in spades in this moronic hitpiece.
