My understanding is that not only are the plans gone, but so are all the tools and machines necessary to build a Sat5.

It took all that rocketry just to get 3 guys and a gokart there the last time. It's not cost efficient for a long term stay.

Don't they have the old plans for the Saturn V rocket? It did the trick before. They are going to use Shuttle technology which is almost as old. It will be over forty years old by the time the first trip is made, if it's made on time.
