Then they risk the nuclear option, canceling the fillibuster option for the next nominee. Of course, if they save their fillibuster for judge #2 then the nuke option can start then. If the Senators have the cojones, which they likely don't.

No offense, but read what I wrote a bit more carefully. The dems have said they will grind Senate business to a halt if the Republicans exercise the Constitutional option. Thus, if the Republicans exercise this option the dems will refuse to cooperate in any committee hearing. No hearings, no judges.
