No offense, but read what I wrote a bit more carefully. The dems have said they will grind Senate business to a halt if the Republicans exercise the Constitutional option. Thus, if the Republicans exercise this option the dems will refuse to cooperate in any committee hearing. No hearings, no judges.

For example, imagine if Janice Rogers Brown were nominated? A black woman, already confirmed. If they ground the Senate to a halt on her they'd get skewered. The Repubs ought not be scared of them. If they are scared, they will act like it and lose.

The Dims don't attend the hearings? So what. The hearings go on with a quorum, do they not?
