Tony's guests and topics on today's show include:
The Power of Grandstanding
Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee turned up the heat in the second day of Judge John Roberts' confirmation hearings. What's the point of the grandstanding? Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson illuminates.
Separation of Stupidity and Government
So now a federal judge has ruled that it is unconstitutional to say the words "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. How likely is this ruling to be overturned?
No, I Don't Want My House Turned Into A Mall
The Kelo v. New London eminent domain ruling is having repercussions all over the country. We'll meet one woman who is fighting to keep her house from being converted into boutique shops.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
I was about to rant about this caller. Finally getting around to the point.
What my fellow-Texans have done for the refugees has made me most proud of my state and my governor! Where are the liberal northern states in helping these people?
Hire this man! He is wonderful!
African American critics leap right over the prime cause of the New Orleans distress, the African American Mayor. At least this one stops at Gov. Blanco. The social unrest in the Dome was not inevitable. It was typical of the culture of New Orleans and I venture to say would not have happen in a more disciplined urban area.
Other than 2 college students wanting to return to the area, NO ONE else wanted to go to D.C.
Last week a plane load of people landed in D.C. and one of the refugees said they were not told where they were going until the plane was about to take off.
Doesn't that say it all!
Some of our Northern cities have offered to put refugees in the 'projects'.
Look at how those storms in FL ripped those trailers to shreds - I don't think the pontoons will do much good. In FL - there is mandatory evacuation for all trailer dwellers.
Not to be picky, but there is no such thing as "African American"....either you're an American or not. If you are black American, then it would be American of African descent.
I would love to see a comparison of the red states contributions and state government support versus the same for blue states.
:-)
INCOMING!!!
If I am ever excited about going to the post office someone needs to smack the crap out of me, because I've clearly gone mental.
In the projects??? You mean in the ghetto, in the American concentration camps? How sweet of them!
You need Brown!!!!!!
Tell her there's US!!!!!!
Donald Trump....riiiighhhtt.
I don't know if that's true. That may be true of leadership roles, but I can also say that I have observed how in other discussions, conservative blacks and minorities have been ignored or marginalized by the mainstream media.
Regarding current sentiment about the role of racism in the NO rescue efforts, James Taranto (OpinionJournal.com - Best of the Web Today) reviewed the data two or three days ago and illustrated that the data showed that 72% of blacks interviewed did not perceive the emergency/recovery operations as racist.
Looking at the tables, I can see how it could be represented either way. I don't know for certain if James T is correct, but he's usually not one to leap to conclusions.
Judge Roberts is AWESOME. He is answering the most ridiculous questions I have ever heard. He's doing great. LOL
LMAO!!
"African American" for example, is a term adopted by the PC-promoting DUmocrats. I'm not an Irish-American, a Dutch-American, German-American, etc., although I may be descended from folks who left those countries. The only hyphenated term I will tolerate is All-American.
