True. Those two should have been on the list. RIP Dean Wormer. Since this posting seems to be a combination of movie recommendations and Chuckie Schumer insults, perhaps Chuckie (or maybe Ted Kennedy) should listen to the sage advice of Dean Wormer; "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son."

You were just getting to the good part.

Who do you all think is the sleeziest, Beiden, or Kennedy?
Personally I have to say Beiden, Hugh Hewitt said that a long time ago Cuomo from NY, called Beiden the dumb blond of the senate. Hewitt just calls him Slow Joe. I cannot stand him, he comes off with that smile then he stabs you,
Lifeguard Kennedy is just putzy.

I must commend you on your exquisite taste. However, please don't forget Animal House and Stripes. Oh poo, I can get all hoity-toity too, but if you were stuck on a desert island, you'd pick a gutter humor movie, too.
Great escapism! LOL

The Dirty Harry series with Clint Eastwood, The Death Wish Series with Charles Bronson and one that would hopefully cause Chuck the schmuck Schumer to drop over dead, "Waco".

You were just getting to the good part. Sorry, but I'm a married woman - LOL
Seriously, though, it was a fun movie! Even w/ the bad ending.
(And the first time I was Holy Grail was in Jume of 1975 at drive-in w/ a guy named Steve. Ick, I spent that summer dating him. Boy, I was stupid back them!!)

Any man who loves Hitch's movies is a man who has a good head on his shoulders and Roberts stands heads and shoulders above his inquisitors.

And be aware that understanding Hitchcock means knowing the rules of his film techniques among which is that policemen and politicians are usually the bumbling fools.
I wonder if Roberts knows this and naming a Hitchcock film was a back door way of slamming these fools.

He should have told them his favorite movie was "Advise and Consent" Ah, that was a great movie. They never came out and said what Brig's problem was. You had to be a sophisticated adult to get it. Today's movies have no subtlety.

Should have played with Schumer by saying 'Fahrenheit 9/11'. And loves watching 'West Wing' with his family.

Yes, Schumer, Kennedy and Biden owe IQ points. But I am serious when I say that Ron Wyden of Oregon has to be the single stupidest member of the US Senate. He's the kind of guy my mother would describe as not having gotten in line for "brains" because he thought they'd said "trains."
His lack of intelligence is downright stunning. It is a good thing, however, that he's not on this particular committee. 4 brain-dead Senators would be just too much.
