WAKEMAN, Ohio - Sheriff's deputies found 11 children locked in cages with alarms in a north Ohio home, and prosecutors are looking into possible charges of abuse and neglect.
The children, ages 1 to 14, were in nine cages in the walls of a house outside this city of about 1,000 about 50 miles west of Cleveland, according to the Huron County Sheriff's Office. They had no blankets or pillows, and the cages were rigged with alarms that sounded if the cages were opened, Lt. Randy Sommers said.
The children told authorities they slept in the 40-inches-high by 40 inches-deep cages at night. Doors to some of the cages were blocked with heavy furniture.

Why do I get the disturbing thought that these will be classified as "homeschooled" children?

Why do I get the disturbing thought that these will be classified as "homeschooled" children? I don't know - why? Because you don't have a clue? If I couldn't afford private school we would home school sweetie. I hardly think foster children would be allowed to be home schooled.

What was that house anyhow, a sadism palace? "Cages built into walls" ... few would go to that much trouble even for dogs.

The only fit punishment is to cage these bastards. But that'll never happen.

Before you get on your high horse let me inform you that I'm a veteran homeschool mom of many years. The reason I posted the homeschool comment is because the lamestream media has a habit of publicizing neglect/psycho isolationist parent types and then throws in the "they were homeschooling" phrase, for reasons I'm sure you're aware of.
Next time I'll make the sarcasm a little heavier for your benefit.

I realize we don't know all the particulars about this story, but my knee-jerk reaction is to beat the ever loving dog snot out of these "parents". A friggin 1-year old???????? Give me a break.
