The second, Jeanne, finished the job. We lost everything we owned. Still going at it with State Farm. No settlement yet. They are saying our personal possesions cannot be claimed because we do not have receipts to prove we purchased them. I dont really care for the stuff I lost, it was just stuff. But my wife lost all her things, all the things that weer handed down from her mother and such. Her antiques, clothes.. everything.
They made us get all the destroyed stuff out of what was left of the house, and now a year later want to see proof of them. All we have is pictures.
Well that is reassuring:') State Farm has paid fast for us. We had 4 cars damaged during a hail storm and roof damage. Of course they raised our policy but....
I can not possibly understand what you are dealing with and will not make any comments to attempt to do so.
