The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Why do you think they listen to the special interest groups? They are small but very loud. We need to do the same. Let our voices be heard and not be defeatists.
Special interests groups pay them mucho $$. That's the reason the politicans listen to them. They sell themselves to the highest bidder.
