New Orleans Lady SHUTS CNN'S SOLEDAD O'BRIEN DOWN!!!
CNN ^ | Sept. 8, 2005 | self

Posted on 09/08/2005 5:27:28 AM PDT by Poundstone

Anybody just see this lady in New Orleans SHUT DOWN CNN blabbermouth Soledad O'Brien? It was awesome! The lady (whose name I forgot) said her ancestors settled in New Orleans and she's lived there all her life. She said her neighborhood was high and dry, she had running water, and she wasn't going to evacuate. She blasted CNN and the MSM for showing only shots of flooded New Orleans, saying they weren't showing the parts of the city that were dry and inhabitable. Then she blasted the NO city government for failing to implement its own evacuation plan and evacuate inner-city people using buses. O'Brien tried a few times to rebut the "New Orleans lady," but the lady SHUT HER DOWN and seized control of the interview. In the end, O'Brien agreed to take her TV crew to the lady's neighborhood and show that. This was GREAT!!!

A normal person who owned a business like PMSNBC would quickly discern why their ratings are continually in the Sh!t can.

Evidently the people purporting to be leaders at PMSNBC should be jailed for pulling such a long scam posing as executives.

Der Furher Kieth Doberman is the epitome of what most people consider a smug elitists know it all.

Keith certainly doesn't let lies and innuendo get in his way of reporting it the way radical liberals want it to be.

yes, people use "decimated" when they should instead use "annihilated" (latin: an+nihil = "to nothing") with or without a modifiers such as "almost" or "nearly"

as a classicist, the misuse of "decimated" has long annoyed me.

but, cheer up: the abominable non-word "irregardless" is almost extinct.

about the only descriptor they have used correctly is "devastate"

Much of New Orleans has indeed been laid to waste.

I tried channel surfing and the Bush bashing is beyond pale.

Here is an email I sent to Fox and copied to the other news wannabes.

Email

Dear Fox

How does it feel to be the king of the cable news field. Thanks for having some objectivity in your reporting. Thanks for standing up for America.

It is not stop FEMA bashing on CNN and PMSNBC. However, many of the people doing the bashing and screaming about not getting help were ordered to leave. They were told that if they stayed it might be weeks before they could be helped. Now those dumb enough to stay are crying that FEMA wasn't there right after the storm blew through.

I digress but what ever happened to Moon Bat Cindy Sheehan the liberal medias drama queen?

PMSNBC has a poll showing that 72% of their viewers don't have confidence that President Bush can handle the hurricane disaster. I about fell out of my chair laughing. Just shows the narrow mindedness of the few people watching this biased far left radical network.

PMSNBC executives have got to be some of the most biased, out of touch inept business people in America. However, they just barely beat out CNN for most dumb. I realize they are playing to their narrow minded one agenda, blame America audience. An audience that continues to shrink more and more as the days go by. In any other business these people would be the laughing stock of the local Podunk chamber of commerce.

Fox is picking these yokels clean in the ratings game. I would say that in another year there will be no PMSNBC and CNN will be barely on the ratings scale. Can't sustain an entertainment business if no one is watching, just ask Hollywood. How many people actually watch the shenanigans going on at PMSNBC and CNN is debatable since most of their sorry ratings are in scratch territory. Well, their whole audience would fit into less than 10 super bowl stadiums. It must be a secular miracle because I don't see how these turkeys keep advertisers.

Well Fox people, maintain the objectivity and you'll keep your audience and evidently take away those misinformed watching other wannabe Fox networks.

I just posed a theory. I actually think they should be allowed to stay. They also loose the right to bitch about anything if something bad happens. I hear the water works in some areas. I wonder if it is safe to drink.

Fellow Freepers:

At the suggestion of writer Michelle Malkin last Friday, I have cobbled together a blogsite called Texas Clearinghouse for Katrina Aid to serve as a clearinghouse for refugee efforts in Texas.

Texas is getting more refugees than any other state -- that's fine, we'll take them all -- but we need help providing them with food, clothing, medicine, and shelter. We need help taking care of their pets, too.

If you are a refugee, you can information that will help you find relief. If you want to donate or volunteer, you can find someone who needs you. Believe me, there are a lot of organizations who need your help.

Right now the site mostly covers Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas but I'm adding more every night. My wife was down at Reunion Arena in Dallas Tuesday handing out care packages and spiritually ministering to the refugees as a representative of her employer. She says that the situation is tragic and that there's a lot of work to be done. There are so many children who don't know where their parents are or even if their parents are still alive.

There are a lot of churches and other organizations in Texas that need help in dealing with the problem and I would appreciate it if you would get the word out.

Many thanks,

Michael McCullough

Stingray blogsite
