thought the feds were in charge? See... these mofo's need to be thrown in jail!

No... President Bush did not Federalize the National Guard and the Louisiana State Constitution under Governor Blanco is in charge.

I'm not sure about all States... but most State Consitutions limit Federal exercise or authority - meaning Homeland Security, like the FBI, can not operate independently superceding State law. Governor Blanco could order FEMA and all active duty troops out of the state at any time. The U.S. Constitution does not supercede the Louisiana State Constitution except during times of declared War or if President Bush Federalizes the Lousiana National Guard.

I read an article the other day that said. Feds were in charge or something to that effect? Is that in Mississippi?
