The problem is that the law is broken in the first place, that child rapists are out on the streets. That's the bigger issue that needs to be solved.

The dead weren't "people". They were not "human". No member of a human tribe sexually assaults children. There has never been a 100% reliable method of "curing" a pedophile. The only way to eliminate it from preying on children is, A. separate it from it's prey, or B., eliminate it.

Option B is cheaper, and permanently effective.
