I'd really like someone to tell me one productive thing that the Governor of Louisiana did before, during or after this whole catastrophe. She seems to have been completely useless.

"She seems to have been completely useless."
If only she'd been useless! She was far more dangerous than useless. She was counterproductive. She was an obstacle. She created problems. Better she'd have stepped aside, or designated someone with intelligence and/or experience to handle the sitution.

I was appalled by Governor Bianco's comments during the crisis. She was as weepy as any man-on-the-street running from the hurricane. She inspired no hope whatsoever. An otiose and pathetic leader.

She blubbered. I heard mention her sorrow at the loss of the Garden District. She was on Larry King for an hour or so. She demanded apologies. She blubbered some more. That's a lot of work.

I also know that after the storm she hired James Lee Witt "TO SPEAK FOR ME AT THE TABLE" thereby advertising her incompetence for all the world to see.

I'd really like someone to tell me one productive thing that the Governor of Louisiana did before, during or after this whole catastrophe. I believe the morning the levee broke and New Orleans began to flood, she suggested a prayer day. Two days later she confessed on national television to not know what day it was.
