To: Marysecretary

The kids in Baltimore who go to some of the public schools wear uniforms. The performance and behavior in these schools is superior to the usual public schools. I wonder if the uniforms change the child or the chance to attend a school with structure attracts kids who will succeed no matter what. Either way, it is a great idea.

I think so, too. Our christian school has a dress code (no tee shirts and jeans and always dress modestly) but I do wish they would have uniforms. In the long run, it's cheaper, and there's no poor vs. not so poor.
