WASHINGTON - (KRT) - With many blaming the growing scope of Katrina's devastation on the Bush administration, Sen. Hillary Clinton called Sunday for a 9/11-style probe into how the federal government responded to the crisis. "It has become increasingly evident that our nation was not prepared," Clinton, D-N.Y., said in a letter to Bush asking him to set up a "Katrina Commission."

The Dem's simply choose either to get behind it... or let it slide.
Great! Let's have a commission and start with an investigation of liberal Democratic Senator Mary Landrieau from Louisiana.
Pointing fingers? Tell Rev. Jesse Jackson to take off his $1,000 3 piece suit and go down and feed the victims himself. He has more money that about 10 of us put together. (LOL)
On the other hand, yes, lets get down there and take care of all the victims.
I was surprised to see her do this. What deviousness is she up to? I figured we'd have to trick the Dims into this.
"Does not work & play well, with others".
The New Orleans Public School system gets that Rating.
"NOPS" let their buses sit & drown.
These hundreds of buses were not use for Evacuation. They were hoarded, for "School Use ONLY". It didn't matter that ""school was Cancelled" and "their students" & Others were in Danger. A January of 2000 Plan {for Louisiana & New Orleans} approved by City, State & FEMA, ment nothing to "NOPS"!
Nationwide, School Systems are administered by "for the children folks" {read NEA Liberals}. NOPS is just One example.
"For the Children" seems to be Liberal Code, meaning NEA & Indoctination! In a Disaster it seems to mean "If we can't Indoctinate 'Em, drown 'em! Let 'em fend for themselves. That applies to their Parents, too."
Don't get me wrong, I'm not "anti-teacher".
I distrust professional "School Adminisrations {with NEA/ Indoctrinationist ties}". The Same "screw you bunch" that offended "Governor Jesse Ventura", the Folks that won't let Scouts meet in Schools, the folks that think School Facilities ARE NOT "Public Property & for Public Use".

Good....... line up mouthy Nagin's school buses for exhibit 1.
Oh.... that is a classic!
"Commission" implies "AMERICA did something WRONG!"
Hence, the Leftist desire for commissions everywhere.
oh good. Another commission so everyone can blame Bush. What can Berger stuff down his pants this time?
she wont win here, not this time.
Hillary wants a commision for everything....
BBMC: Bush Bowel Movement Commission
WDBLVGSC: Why Do Black Liberal Voters Get Screwed Commission
OU812C: Oh You Ate One Too Commission...
It is against our Constitution for a President to send military or Federal agents into a state without the express permission of that state (i.e. Governor). In this case, President Bush offered to have National Guardsmen in New Orleans two days before Katrina hit. Louisiana's female, DemocRAT Governor refused to grant that permission until the end of the second day after the hurricane.
The National Guard was ready. FEMA was on notice. Her decision was to send people to the SuperDome instead. She didn't bother to put anyone in charge or make sure they had food and medical supplies. What a gal!
My dad is down there working with FEMA. Unlike what you see from our leftist national news media, the people there are very appreciative for the help and VERY upset with their DemocRAT Governor.
"Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""
Someone posted this. Should be discussed by Katrina Commission. How about a Vince Foster Commission and a Marc Rich Commission, followed by a Chappaquiddick Commission, and ..............
Buddy the dog would've demanded it... (sniff)
I agree... and right after that, we begin the Able Danger Congressional Hearings.
