"Animals" is the operative word here, and not just in the Superdome, either. I've had it with the thugs sniping at anyone tring to fix the problems in the city. I say the next time a building is identified as a source of snipers, an Apache attack helicopter is dispatched and the occupants given two minutes to come out with their hands up before the building is thoroughly strafed (I wouldn't waste a Hellfire on those creeps).

I do object to calling this bad PR for the US because nobody with half a brain will see the SuperDome/Katrina incidents as protoypical US conduct. The bad PR accrues to cities that tolerate and cultivate civil unrest and criminal conduct.
