Our local news in Indianapolis did a story on the hurricane victems that have arrived here and are being taken care of by the Red Cross..they are staying at a dormitory that can house up to 500.

It has wonderful beds, TV's, a full supply room of EVERTHING and a volunteer gets for each victem, whatever they need, whenever they need it.

They interviewed a man, a black man who had lost everything, and he was so sweet, so humbled by the generosity and comfort and care he was receiving...he has fallen in love with Indy (of course, winter hasn't arrived yet...lol) and I hope Indy falls in love with him.

In fact---I hope these people who have lost so much see an entire new world as a result of their displacement. I hope they see kindness and feel hope and safety and realize that life does not have to be full of dope runners, thugs and brutality.

Lol, wait until the see their first snowfall! The kids will never want to leave : )

Not counting those who have died, or been brutalized, this could be a golden opportunity for so many people. May they prosper and thrive : )
