As much as he runs his mouth (Broussard) he can't help but lie from time to time.
Why would they create a no fly zone around the disaster area.
Good call-back to the NO Jazz!!!
Huh?
Prayers for you too, mystery...............but you knew that, I think!
Why would they do that?
Mike just ran to the store to get more socks...can never have enough socks..LOL
Newt's my former Congressman. Disgraceful. I have written him and told him he lost my my vote. If you can't woo your own constituents it's pretty bad.
As for Honore, a list of my favorite Honore quotes:
"If it's easy, it would have been done already."
"If you ever have 20,000 people come to supper, you know what I'm talking about. If it's easy, it would have been done already
"By-and-large, these are families that are just waiting to get out of here. They are frustrated; I would be, too. I get frustrated at the cash register counter when the paper runs out."
"Worse things have happened to America," he added. "We're going to overcome this, too. It's not our fault. The storm came and flooded the city."
An NBC reporter asked General Honore "What's taking so long?" Honore answered: "This is a Disaster. This isn't something somebody can control. We ain't stuck on stupid. "
Sheesh. Our guys just can't catch a break. How long?
nor was she immediately invited to meet him or travel with him.
$$$$$
...because he does not have any reserve of energy left to be nice to a dangerous fool, and he does not speak falsehoods, so when he cannot any longer speak politely to someone, he does not put himself in their company. The person gets the message.
He sounded impressive....but not as "commanding" as Honore!!! LOL I love that guy!
LOL! I remember that from Iraq. Gotta have those socks!
Oh, I was mis-reading that. I was reading it that Broussard himself turned back the trucks.
I don't believe him. He's a nutjob.
Yes this was an interview with Lott and that is what he (Lott) said. He stated that he and the President were friends and that he and Haley Barbour were friends. That all the powers (governors, mayors) that be in the Mississippi area knew him.
I think it was nuts to let people in, but then everything they've done there is nuts.
Shep was in a car accident?
I'm taking action on how many will respond to the next mandatory evac order given...my money says 90%.
First come first served, place your bets now, first prize is a raised shot glass from me and a hearty high-ho.
I can so relate to that.
