There was at least a 24 hour delay of moving PRE-PLACED material into NOLA, because of loss of civil order. At the same time Blanco was praising the relief efforts, her minions at the gate of NOLA were denying the Red Cross permission to enter, because of civil unrest in NOLA.
And this is a FEMA shortcoming?
Off Topic....but they just said on Fox that the confirmation hearings for John Roberts have been postponed..

We lived in Daleville (not that I remember anything- left when I was 1 1/2). I love the sound of helicopters. We are near Ft. Lewis and get to hear them sometimes.

I get the feeling neither FOX nor Hannity want my attention.
I doubt it has anything to do with Utah in particular. It's the same mindset of the ones who are refusing to leave New Orleans. The city is all they know and it was all they had. These are people who, for the most part, have never left NO or Louisiana. The idea of going anywhere else terrifies them... irrationally, but for sure.

I thought so too. We are getting loads of them here in WV. I'm not sure why they wouldchoose WV over Utah? We aren't exactly a known for haing many black communities either, but we'll love 'em and help 'em any way we can. I'll be the Utah people will too.
