I mean it, Peach............this guy made RUMMY look like a wimp! ;)
Might show up on Rush or Sean.
Contraflow wasn't implemented until 4 pm saturday afternoon, about 38 hours before landfall. Entirely too late, imo.
I have a feeling that someone will replay that presser a FEW times...it was priceless.
In fact, you might check out C-span...I didn't see if they carried it LIVE...but they might have..and they replay pressers all of the time.
Yeah...and I can tell you firsthand...nmany of them agree with you:)
It was so good. I hope Fox plays it again.
we have to get a tape of this posted someplace.
I liked what Paige Hopkins said immediately after the Press conference was over 'Well that's a man in charge!' Good job Paige.
Now I'm afraid to leave the tv. Was it MSNBC?
I've seen LTG Honore in action before and I was thinking he was a bit subdued while he was being interviewed the last few days. It was good to seem more like his regular self today!
Good idea! And Email Hannity, maybe he'll play it tonight!
This needs to be looped over and over and over again!
FAA's bigger than Constitutional Freedom of Speech then? Are there laws to back this up, or is retribution under the table?
Have you checked with Brad's Gramma----she is really good about keeping track of the people on the prayer lists we have had.
There is absolutely no other explanation for every one of them - every LA official, top to bottom, men AND women - CRYING ON TV.......even the Lt. Gov was crying over in Houston.
FGS, there is NO crying in hurricanes!
Actually, contraflow wasn't implemented on ALL designated roads, and WWL-TV reported during the event that contraflow was turned on, then off, then back on again, then off....
In other words, contraflow was never implemented properly or effectively.
Hadn't heard that. You a Huey driver?
Speaking of weeks:
a LSM reporterette interviewing a Mississippi coastal resident this morning [who had lost his house], asked him, "I imagine it's been quite a week."
This guy will most likely post it - I'll keep an eye on it
