Good. It's about darned time we heard about the good guys shooting BACK for a change. For lack of adequatre words in the English language, I cannot TELL you all exactly how ANGRY I am that the survivors were shooting at their rescuers and keeping food and water from being gotten to the convention center.

If you were a first responder, exactly how would YOU react if you rushed to the burning building or crushed car to save people....only to have the b@stards TRY TO KILL YOU?? How many of us even bother to THINK of such a possibility in advance?? WE HELP PEOPLE. They might blame us for not having gotten there an hour before the (tragedy here) happened, but THEY DON'T NORMALLY SHOOT AT US TO PREVENT US FROM HELPING THEM. AM I MAKING MYSELF CLEAR AT ALL TO YOU FLIPPING BUCH BLAMERS THAT THE SURVIVORS ARE NOT EXEPECTED TO KILL THOSE TRYING TO SAVE THEM??

</rant mode off>

Not much different than what are troops are being subject to in iraq. They are assigned the task of helping to liberate a country, while being continually targeted by the enemy. Threy deserve the utmost respect for their efforts, not the scorn of the Demorats and MSM.

Those trying to retrieve law and order in NO are also subjecting themselves to continual danger, offering the thugs a potential target as they try to go about the business of cleaning up this mess.

Given the circumstances, carrying a gun on the bridge in NO is an act of provocation, and makes you an immediate suspect to those rightfully assigned to restore law and order.
