That isn't being sexist.

With her, it's just incompetence. My wife won't let me be a sexist... She's keeps me in line, with a broomstick, or one of her wrenches.

Corruption comes from being a Dem, in LA (or WV, or CA, OR NY, or all the rest of them!) I just wish our Prez would show a little backbone, and start pointing it our. There is no way the MSM will report it, unless a rreal controversy is started.

As we have seen with Mr. Bush's budgets, he is just like them, buying votes! I don't expect him to ruffle any of their feathers. I was fed up with him, long ago. I have no idea who will be on the Pubbie ticket next, but I may vote for a third! I have no idea who yet, but it will be for someone to close the borders, and kick out the illegals. Now, more than ever!

I disagree. Feathers will be ruffled. But this isn't the time for it.

>>>She's keeps me in line, with a broomstick, or one of her wrenches.

Now if it were a rolling pin...That would be sexist! :))

Hey! I haven't seen you on the board in a while! Have a nice summer? I'm sorry to see it end.

I've been busier than heck lately. Actually, we just have a two week summer here and then it's off to school again. I spent all of it getting ready for the school year. Then I taught for three weeks and had a three week break (year-round school here). THAT was my summer. I went home for about 10 days and visited friends and family. Now, I will start up again.

Oh the boys in the hood might appreciate Nagin's obscenities, but I suspect the democrat machine in Louisiana and Washington are desperate to cover up for the people they put in office in Louisiana.

I think that's one reason why the attack on Bush and FEMA is so fierce. Call it a pre-emptive political attack.

Year round school? I wouldn't like that. I like having the summer with my family.

Year round school? I wouldn't like that. I like having the summer with my family.

It's to save tax money. But there are ample breaks throughout the year so many families take advantage of it to take extra vacations in addition to their summer ones. I know several that go to Disneyland in February for example.

We have President's week off in February. So we could take vacation then too without year round school.

My hands were the last to use that. I spend more time in the kitchen, than she. She just did a complete brake and bearing replacement on my Lincoln (new calipers, pads, rotors, and wheel bearings. she also changed the oil, while it she was there!), and is waiting for some parts, for my volvo wagon (which I love, but get ridiculed by a bunch of idiots here on FR, for owning!).

I married her just five years ago (#2) and for our first anniversary, we visited the Mac Tool man. When shopping for the initial engagement ring, I bought her a nice antique filigree diamond, about 1.5 carats, from a pawn shop ($2 grand cost, $7 grand appraisal). She loved it, but said she would rather have tools...

She also crochets, made her own wedding dress, and bakes a fabulous banana bread...

I'm almost 58, and I don't want to have to be trained, by another one! I'll do what I can to keep her. The house we are building will include a 6,000 sq foot garage, with 3 lifts! I can't touch any of them. that's ok with me! I just got a new bigscreen projector from RadioShack for $1300 (great value). She made me buy her $2 grand worth of tools! It's a small price to pay, to keep her busy while I'm watching a race (She'd rather watch Emote TV)...

That is conservative.

A Blue Bird bus, used by many school systems across the country, can hold up to 78.

True. We just have President's Day usually at the traditional schools here. We have the Christmas and Easter breaks and the summer break as well as a November break, a February break, and a May break too.
