See 92, I noticed in the American Heritage Dictionary that both pictures were filed under "Dereliction of Duty".
Nice Find, Rooster! Send it to Drudge!
This brings tears to my eyes to think of the heartache and unspeakable horror that might have been so easily prevented if the Governor had been on the job.
Could someone refresh my memory. Why did Bobby Jindal lose the election to this woman? Was it due to stuffed ballot boxes? Cronyism? Payoffs? My memory is sketchy, and not just about this. LOL

If you catch Blanco on a news report, her body language and voice is a dead giveaway that she knows she has really screwed up.
When will the MSM raise questions about the buses?
They could have run shuttles between NO and BR while the other municipalities picked them up there and brought them to other shelters out of harms way. It's an hour's drive to BR. If they did that for two-three days round the clock they could have evacuated a whole lot of people.
Sounds like she is trying to pass the blame onto others
glub glub .. Thanks!
Gubinor Blank-O reloads her weapon and proceeds to shoot her other foot..
KBB 2005-20 FLAGS AT HALF STAFF July 18, 2005 for Secretary of State Walter Fox McKeithen, who died on July 16, 2005.
BUT SHE'S NOT ISSUED ANY SUCH ORDER FOR THE HUNDREDS OF HUMAN BEINGS KILLED.....ALMOST A WEEK AGO.
She needs to step down since she's admitted she can't do her job.
At least the electrical wiring, maybe the transmissions and the interiors will have to be replaced.
If they had been moved just to the interstate outside of the Dome, they would have been above the flood waters. Then they would have been ready for the evacuations.
Thank you. Quite damning IMO.
Was this backdated a day or two, possibly? I wonder if this was rushed out for cover.
If you think that's bad, check this out...

Behind the scenes, a power struggle emerged, as federal officials tried to wrest authority from Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco (D). Shortly before midnight Friday, the Bush administration sent her a proposed legal memorandum asking her to request a federal takeover of the evacuation of New Orleans, a source within the state's emergency operations center said Saturday.
The administration sought unified control over all local police and state National Guard units reporting to the governor. Louisiana officials rejected the request after talks throughout the night, concerned that such a move would be comparable to a federal declaration of martial law. Some officials in the state suspected a political motive behind the request. "Quite frankly, if they'd been able to pull off taking it away from the locals, they then could have blamed everything on the locals," said the source, who does not have the authority to speak publicly.
Gee. Did Blanco come out of her coma?
I'm not sure how high up that water goes. You may be absolutely right, but that water may not reach the engine. I just don't know. Wouldn't you think that if she signed that E.O., she would have taken steps to announce it, get drivers (or divers, LOL as the case may be) over there to start evaquating people? This was the first the public had heard about it, to my knowledge.
Considering how unstable and unhinged Nagin has been this week, I think he is going to be the second person to jump off the top of the Superdome this week after this news becomes more available to the public.
Did you see this, Red?
