The snow will be good for 'em. Toughen 'em up a little. LOL!
I thought that outside of the closed-down mines in Pennsylvania, most of the U.S. coal was bituminous.
Well then if they want a faster response... change the law. This stupid governor won't even allow the red cross in Baton Rouge give people personal hygiene products and they can only distribute what the governor approves them to hand out.

Randall Robinson Spreads Rumors of Cannibalism in New Orleans

Randall Robinson, an activist and Harvard-educated lawyer whose past activities include founding the TransAfrica organization, encouraging black Americans to sue for reparations, and then loudly emigrating in protest from the U.S. to the Caribean island of St. Kitts, now claims that black Hurricane victims are "eating corpses to survive."
The almost President?
We have now OFFICIALLY JUMPED SHARK!!!
"what has Newt said about this?"
I don't recall the exact words, but I know I was very disappointed in Newt - IMHO he was doing some pre-presedential posturing and bashing the Admin.
Well, we have had disagreements here on FR about Frist's statement calling for hearings into "what went wrong" on this hurricane..
I took it as a "slap" at Bush...and didn't like it. But I know some, maybe you (I can't remember), think it would be good to have hearings in order to show the ineptness of the others..not Bush.
Therefore, you choose if Frist belongs on the list...I think one reason I was on the negative side, is because of what Frist did with the embryonic stem cell thingy, the day before August recess...so I may be damning him for the wrong thing.
You decide, Howlin...I trust your judgement on this one.
That's because you're not thinking w your brain
I like my job in Naperville, but conservative women don't seem very abundant here, and most that do exist seem to be married.

I just put another 2 bucks in my cuss jar
On Fox. St Bernard Parish resident saying "people are dying in the suburbs." Race Card being played to save New Orleans inner city.
Thank You Minnesota!
"She also said the relief effort was " criminal " and charges should be brought. "
I saw that. She thought the residents of NO were being held like prisoners and they should be allowed to fend for themselves.(wants a human rights investigation.) She meant that as a good thing, that the military should let them be self sufficient. Well, I thought we already tried that and that's what got N.O. in this mess to begin with.
If you allow them to be "self-sufficient" you get accussed of "racism by omission" and if you bring in the cavalry you get accused of "racism by comission." What public office is she going to be running for?
What authority does Al Gore bring? What nonsense we are forced to endure.

I guess we're taking 2,000.
