It doesn't matter who "screwed" up with calling for the evacuation, it matters with regards to the response time. Is anyone feeling comfortable right now with the potential for another terrorist attack of the magnitude of 9/11 when this is what we can expect for a response??? Partisan politics are all well and good but this goes way way beyond that. This is REALLY REALLY serious people.
Then you wouldn't care whether Guiliani or Nagin were your mayor. Because it is most definitely about partisan politics. If you don't know that by now, you're too stupid to post here...or vote.
Anyone whose post-attack survival depends on the government is a fool. Have a disaster kit, and plan for at least a week without help. Arm yourself. Look out for your neighbors, and help those you can. People need to be able to take care of themselves for a LEAST a few days.
