I kept telling everyone I talked to before the storm hit that the local government should get empty freight trains down there and load people up in box cars. They knew this was going to happen and had no plan to help evacuate the residents.

I remember you saying that Saturday. They should have made you Govenor and 1,000's may not have died. The Gov and Mayor didn't want to be sued or voted out because they made people leave. They may have known the looting that would happen if they tried to make the "people" go. They need to be held accountable for putting things before lives and safety.

But I have good news. A young man, the only child of a friend of mine who passed away ten years ago, is alive and in Thibodeaux....now I am still worried sick about his aunt, but that's a start!
