The Red Cross is running spots on the news here, saying their operators and phone systems is swamped, asking people not to call, just to send money to the address they provide.
I'd say relief collections are proceeding briskly.
I just donated on the internet....
people told me the servers were hanging yesterday, but it went right through.

I won't donate a cent to Red Cross. My money has already gone to the Salvation Army.
4 of the local radio stations in the Dallas area were at a Salvation Army place yesterday, taking donations of $$$$, canned food, clean, new clothes....etc...
AT 5:00 last night, the show host was asked to tell the radio audience to QUIT coming by...that they had so much stuff to go through and disperse, that they couldn't take any more!!! jeez louise!!!!
But, I didn't hear about that on the news today!! NOPE, didn't.
