Lived from 59-64 in Shreveport, then moved to New Orleans, where I lived until 93. My dad was a 50s style Juvenile Deliquent in NO, but decided to get straight. My grandma still lives in Shreveport, and my sil's family lived there until this storm.

Cool. So you've had access to some damned fine food...:-) I was born in New Iberia and raised in Louisiana. Lived there until my 20s, moved back in my 30s and out again. Now sitting up here in Colorado with my heart breaking over all this.
