Within the past year there was a story about how the people in Mississippi were also the most generous contributors to charity while the New England states were the stingiest. That makes this heartbreak all the harder...
That isn't true though, that New Englanders are 'stingy'. The reason they came up with that number has to do with how it is reported on taxes. The people of NE are very giving.
