I wish I thought you were right....but this is lame duck time. Bush is going down. According to the media, Bush has been a lame duck since Nov. 5, 2004. We didn't believe them then, let's not choose now to start.
We're all on emotional and MSM overload. But, even so, I'm still able to feel gratitude that the same steady adult that has lead us through every crisis for five years is still at the helm.
I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Godspeed, friend.

It is not leadership to arrange settings to stage bullhorn moments as you requested he do. That is pandering to staged PR and is beneath him and any conservative to suggest.

OMG The SCIENTOLOGISTS are providing AID!!!!Oh I sure I hope not...
What is written above is what your post said. I didn't twist anything around. You are the one offering an 'explanation' now about how the Scientologists accuse Bush and whatever.
Personally, I don't care right now if they accuse Bush or whoever as long as they are helping the victims to survive. I'm sure the president isn't worried about Scientologist's volunteering either. It's about priorities.

Gets the stupid Karl Rove thing off the radar, gets Cindy off the radar, gets the Roberts confirmation off the radar.

Just FYI: when I tried to donate at the Salvation Army, they had 5 secure servers up to donate. I had to try 3 different servers to get through. Then, when I got through, it took at least 2 minutes for the credit card info. to go thru. Was afraid that my computer would time out, and, I am on a cable connection.
But, that is good news, because the response is definitely overwhelming! Just keep trying.

No prob. You can reciprocate when any of us is having a bad day, OK?

"Bush is going down"
That doesn't even sound like you, Howlin. Has your account been hijacked, or are you just running on a lack of sleep?
To: Interesting Times
Possibly. It would depend on whether they shot at their rescuers 'Quote of the Day' bump

It is my opionion that Bush is absolutely furious with the head of FEMA. After hearing his non-stop interviews, I am not impressed with him. I think he was the one who delayed too long, especially in Mississippi and Alabama.

Again....Bush declared it a disaster area before the dang thing ever hit.

Look at it this way--help comes in many forms. The Scientologists are not out to recuit in this group of people--they d/n have enough $.

The Bush bashing on CNN is uncontrollable -- in fact, its gotten to the point of laughable. Just listen to them for one minute, and you will laugh. MSNBC...well, they are just ignorant all around.

The reporters are really showing their biased ignorance.
My new email to the MSM.
Someone says that race should be an issue.
That the mayor couldn't evacuate people because blacks didn't have money to leave because they were poor.
Dear MSM
Instead of trying to come together there are some trying to pull America apart at the seems.
Idiotic and gleeful comments from the likes of Wolf Blitzer, Jack Cafferty, Chris Matthews and a number of talking heads.
All ready the liberal do nothings are running for cover like soaked rats from a sinking ship.
Senator Landrieu, Governor Blanco, and many Louisiana officials are part of the problem not the remedy.
Maybe the mayor and governor should have thought about that when they were running for office.
However, for one thing they could have used all the 100's of school buses and many, many city buses now under water.
If you ask me, I doubt any one would be echoing these race baiting comments if these folks were white or brown skinned.
They probably would not give a tinkers damn if this happened to evil Whites and Hispanics.
Race should never be the issue when it comes to life and death.
However, the black race baiter's and their smug elitists radical liberal white supporters would certainly like it to be that way.
