Oops, the CNN link I gave you was incomplete.
Try this one. There's a link near the beginning of the story to a 1-minute excerpt of the interview with that poor man.

Just heard on the LA police scanner an urgent request for a Coast Guard helo to pick up 4 state troopers and 6 medical personal in a hostile situation at Cabrini High School off of Moss Street and Esplanade Ave.
Supplies were arriving in bulk at New Orleans Airport on Tuesday. Fallujah has never been "secured" based on your definition of eliminating evry sniper and deadender with bad thoughts on his mind. And the only reason we were airlifting supplies within 4 days with 10, count them ten, helicopters was because the USS Abraham battlegroup was close by in Hong Kong.
>>Well said about Shep -- that is Shep with no beard after spending nights on the Interstate Shep.<<
Amen.
I don't normally watch the network news.
Nbc tonight made me vomit.
They had a report about the BLACK people in NO. They even said "Poor, read BLACK".
The race card will no stops.
The fema website even has an article about the human-pet bond and how important it is to allow people to stay with their pets.
Justice Thomas is OK. He had actually left before the hurricane. He should make some kind of statement to let people know this.
And now people are apparently leaving the Superdome and taking their chances in the streets of NO. Between those two choices what would you take. I guess you might think it was safer on the streets of NO. But it sounds like even the police are giving up.
Where are these two? They had all the answers--maybe they could reason with the looters, ya suppose?
I was thinking the same thing. At least when our soldiers are going to Iraq they are provided with the necessities for daily living. I think they are going to be short on supplies when they hit LA.

All communties in America should welcome all refugees
John Kerry and Teddy boy have SEVERAL large homes that could be used
Well where are the Demo boys when you need them? I challenge them to help!!!!
Because rebuilding is what people do to survive.
People rebuilt Johnstown after the flood.
People rebuilt Chicago after Mrs. O'Leary's cow started the fire.
People rebuilt San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake.
People rebuilt Hiroshima and Nagasaki after they were nuked.
You don't want to rebuild?
Fine by me. Just stand back and stay out of the way.
the students are bad, but the profs really take the cake....hehe
So far, I've seen Frist, Reid, a senator from MS, and now Schumer. Schumer's doing all right so far (no politicization).
NG killing large numbers of Americans (albeit armed barbarians) could send shock waves all over the country.
Why does CNN owe Mary Landrieu another interview? Dear Lord, are these networks whores or not?
Correct, National Guard types, many of whom are battle hardened veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. They will get the job done if they are allowed to.
There are organizations devoted exclusively to animal assistance during disasters, and hopefully they are being allowed to be part of the relief effort.
Nah...Texas rangers aren't afraid of anyone.
Sadly, this little boy may never get over this... it was a small dog and he could have held it on his lap.. we watched video of other people boarding buses with small dogs... this little boy met the wrong cop.
