You may directly access the Federal Record by going to their web site, enter the SIMPLE SEARCH MODE, and enter (with quotes) "fr23jn98-32" to review the entire document.
Send it to Drudge although I think FR has more traffic Drudge just goes with one think at a time.
If you want to play political games with this calamity, that's fine. If you want to get down in the mud with the liberals and argue over whose fault this natural disaster was, be my guest. But for God's sake, have the decency at least to wait until they fish all the waterlogged bodies out of the streets of New Orleans, huh?
Personally, I think it is bad taste to try to blame anyone while people are dying. People need to look for a place to help, not a place to lay blame.

I agree but it is the Dims and the MSM who are pointing fingers and maybe a few facts will shut them up and make them take care of business instead of grandstanding.

You are right - it is in horrible taste -- and that is why not only the MSM needs to be exposed in this regard, but if they want to politicize someone or something, LET'S DEAL WITH REAL FACTS as noted in this Fed. Register Draft Request. I am personally sick of the rotten MSM and their gutless reporting.
What you said...
Good catch, Eagle.

How are you getting it was rejected?
Thank you MarkeyD - I was trying to remember Sidney's name to reference his snide column.
Fighting fire with fire is not a bad thing.

To paraphrase what my momma and yours told us when we were younger: Two disgusting indecencies don't make a decency.
I'm curious as well.
I want to thank Mr. Jeff Katz, of radio KNEW in the San Francisco Bay area, for allowing me on his program today to ask again for his earlier reference to this Federal Register entry.
Thanks again Jeff!!
Oooooooooohhhh!
The politics began before the storm hit. The latest salvo is a statement today from Harold Ford, calling Bush's response weak and ineffective.
In an ideal world, we'd be able to deal with this storm without politicizing it. This isn't an ideal world.
Please, please get this to the big-name blogs - Hugh Hewitt, Powerline, etc. This needs to get onto the blog world asap.
Thank you.
