I just spoke with Senator Chuck Hagels Communications Director Mike Buttry. There have been two recent rumors swirling about Senator Hagel. The first rumor I reported on The Buzz last week that Hagel was planning to leave the Republican Party to run as an independent candidate for president in 2008. Buttry told me, Thats not happening. Absolutely not.
The second rumor comes from Cindy Sheehan herself. Sheehan made a claim that amongst others, Senator Hagel had called her to express his support and love for her protest of the war and President Bush. I asked Buttry if this was true and he told me, Senator Hagel has never met with nor spoken to Cindy Sheehan. I asked him if Hagel supported her cause and again he made it clear Hagel does not.
We're seeing a growing trend of desperation and paper trail of lies from Cindy Sheehan. She mistakenly claimed President Bush was golfing during Hurricane Katrina. She even went so far as to claim the president's environmental policies are to blame for the disaster. And now, as the rest of the world moves on, Sheehan is trying to create the illusion of support for her cause.
Which left commie - Cindy or Hildabeast?
I'll drink to that!
And Zapruder `flinched' three times. (One for flinching, Abe!)
I wouldn't believe that scum Hagel if he said the sky was blue. He lost his credibility a loooooooooooooooong time ago.
Hey, Chuck! Your fifteen minutes are up, and so are Cindy's. Go back to Nebraska.....if you don't think they'll give you a feather suit held on with tar!
Got to hand it to the Lib Joe Biden. He's got the RINO Hagel and the RINO Voinobitch eating out of the palm of his hand.
And Sheehan does?? Any benefit-of-the-doubt on my part would go to him over her.
We know at least one is lying, but that does not rule out the possibility they both are lying.
He is to full of himself to give the time of day to anyone who is not in the media, and, from his point of view, he has nothing to gain from talking to her.
Senator Hagel is pretty bad on foreign policy and politics, the only time you can count on him, is on social and most economic issues....but he'll still make it sound like he is a liberal.
Hagel is one of those "moderate" Republicans the Dims fawn over `cause they can hold him up and say,
"See? Your own guy disagrees."
Hard to believe this dupe is from Nebraska.
Now there is a man who must REALLY hate his job most days.
Hagel to CNN on August 19 (the height of the Crazy Cindy MSM lovefest):
"I think the wise course of action, the compassionate course of action, the better course of action would have been to immediately invite her in to the ranch. It should have been done when this whole thing started. Listen to her."

I took the liberty of adding to your title. I hope you don't mind.
Like her son, she volunteered.
Why does it matter? Is there really anything Chuck Hagel can do to make you think less of him?
Moving that problem anywhere is no solution. Lets give it back to the French.
Quite so...quite so. But isn't there a code of honor that deems the exploitation of the mentally ill to be unethical?
Oh wait...we're talking about Leftists here...honor doesn't even enter the picture.
Someone lied ... and People cried ...
Its port facilities are about twenty miles up river and the weather sucks.
Historical fact freed slaves where being sold to the french colonies during the civil war.
Which may explain what is going on today?
Frankly, it sounds like the kind of thing Hagel would do. He is finished as a Republican. He's done, he's history. Adios, Chuck.
