People are dying in the streets of the South, while Halliburton pads its contracts with MY money in a far-off land. And you can only blame clichees. You're a twit.
Oh, like blaming Halliburton isn't the ULTIMATE cliche.
People, like you, who attempt to use a disaster like this to score political points are the moral equivalent of looters.

The Great Society, the Age of Dependency, The Welfare Society ,........... speaks. Enjoy it, liberals. Hope you're proud. Couldn'ta said it better myself. This is where the stinking rubber meets the road of their sentimentically braindead "idealism", which has devolved into rank excusism for blatant criminality.
Do not shy away from mashing this into the faces of faaaashionable liberals slinking away from their trails of excrement, leading to this putrid end.

I cant believe the Army, Natl Guard, Navy or some other unit cannot sling load a CH 47 with MREs and water into that area. Some logisticians are not with the program. These people are STARVING for crying out loud. There's Ft Rucker AL, (if they are still in business) and there are Army bases throughout the South. It aint that damn far away to get the essentials to include troops to patrol the streets. Fly cover with gunships if necessary. Someone at state or federal level needs to increase the tempo on support.

How come the buses aren't moving and food and water aren't being distributed?""
Want to sign up yourself for either job when people are shooting at you? I am of course presuming that the drivers/volunteers aren't armed to shoot back......

And until you work middle management in a big corporation, as I have, YOU will have no idea of how corrupt these suits are. LOL. I have. And got the hell out ASAP.

A few are coming through. I heard someone on CNN say that Mexico will be sending some people that way.

But Peter Ambros says federal officials commandeered the buses, and told the guests to join thousands of other evacuees at the New Orleans convention center. But wait, there have been folks here on FR saying that the poor are worse off than those with money! This can't be true! You mean, even those with money are stuck in NO? (sarcasm tag for those who don't understand sarcasm)

The crowd got angry when journalists tried to photograph one of the bodies, and covered it over with a blanket. The nerve of the media vultures. How would you like if your family member's body was shown on national TV?

WHY oh WHY didn't these people EVACUATE as they were TOLD to do? Maybe they didn't have cars. I have a friend in New Orleans now because her flight was canceled.

Someone at state or federal level needs to increase the tempo on support. And the dome isn't the only place. I saw equally desperate people at the convention center and I bet there are other pockets of people. They are reaching a breaking point.

We need to get Howdy Doody out of the White House, and put Guiliani in charge. His is proven leadership. You've got to be kidding me. The last time this White House took any direction from Rudy Giuliani, it named his bootlicker Bernie Kerik to be the Homeland Security Director. Ironically, he withdrew his nomination when it became apparent that his track record in law enforcement would have made him a perfect fit for a police department as corrupt and incompetent as New Orleans.

The governor needs to activate all present and past National Guard troops in the state and ask them to report to a meeting spot somewhere near New Orleans, and then send them into the city, by foot if necessary with relief supplies.

Wow, it don't take you bots long to revert to high school name-calling!
