Someone else will correct me if I am wrong, but I recall hearing traffic was very light in the hours immediately preceding the worst of the storm.

Good, I hope so! I am having nightmares about people trapped on those bridges as the storm hit and it broke apart.

I did look at several traffic cams that night, and though I couldn't promise the times were accurate, many had light traffic while others did not.

I did see a report earlier that the "bridges were being raised" so I was hoping that was the case. I was mainly frightened by the pictures showing wrecked cars among the bridge. :(
