The mike-in-your-face ambush journalism is bad-enough in Washington, but it has no place here at all. Background. Find out who she gets her info from. Find out who's supposed to be in charge. Find out if there was a State Plan filed somewhere in the past that was better (just even an internet search.) Anything but just putting some official on the spot to rile up viewers for rating points.
Oh horse crap she was sent out there to give info and she gave nothing! There was a chance there to help instead there was nothing. If she was not at fault then her boss was. Damn it. Umm, it wasn't an ambush, it was a planned interview on a satellite link. If she didn't want to answer questions, she shouldn't have agreed to the interview. She's the official spokesperson for the LA state police, FGS! She gets paid to pass on information.
The job of a reporter is to get information. The job of a spokesperson is to give information.
