I wasn't talking about poor people in the cities. Jesus said we will always have the poor.

And we definitely are to help the poor.

I was speaking of the gangs, drug addicts, murderers, etc. If you don't think they are a major problem to cities now, then I really don't know what to say.

I guess you have to have lived in a large city and gone througj one or two senseless riots to realize not everyone is redeemable. The poor truck driver who had his head bashed in at the beginning of the last Los Angeles riot lives out here and is still not 100% healed and will never be. That's not racism, that's fact.

I will help anyone, who wants to help himself and there is a lot of people who have suffered through the past few days in the superdome, and the astrodome was designated as a refugee center for those people, not some thugs that decide to steal a bus and head for Texas. They should have joined all the women, children and men in line at the Superdome waiting to be told WHAT center they would be evacuated out to.
