Most of NO is ABOVE sea level. Minimum elevation for LP is sea level. Lower LP and break levees on that side to drain most of the city.
Right now LP is 3 feet above sea level and city has filled up to 3 feet above sea level. Only getting the pumps running and/or lowering LP more can help.

Thanks for that info. Why do they consider NO like a bowl below sea level? I get the feeling we are not being told the truth sometimes.
