I think that county needs to rethink. Garbage pickup is not a non-essential service, garbage breeds pests and disease, and anyway aren't garbage trucks deisel.

People now are most likely going to suggest ways for us to save gas, drive more efficiently. One thing that always has bugged me are these traffic lights that turn red at 3:00 a.m. (or whatever), and you have to come to a halt on some completely empty road........ sit there for a while, and then accelerate from the dead stop again.

What a grand waste of gas. Why don't towns and cities change these laws NOW and make the light blinking yellow when at all possible. I hate stopping at time like that, and it is a huge waste of gas when you think of everyone all over the country who has to stop like that!
