We won't have a country left if the President willfully pursues policies that threaten American sovereignty. To turn up the heat, there is only one option. A bill of impeachment. If we want to have illegal aliens and terrorists flood this country, by all means, lets close our eyes and continue on our present course. If America is a sovereign state, we will compel the President to take action to defend it - or see himself be forced to vacate his high office.

Well this did. Farah lost the last ounce of credibility. It was hard to sqeeze that last ounce of credibility out, but Farah did it.

Impeach Bush on what grounds?
Buchannan believes that we are being invaded. In that event it is the responsibility of Congress to declare war.
Impeach members of Congress would be more appropriate.

Simply signing CFR in 2001 was plenty to justify impeachment. But with the disaster playing out right now, today is NOT the time.

It is outrageous that hordes of illegal aliens are roaming across the country, committing horrible crimes, terrorizing citizens, and yet many of our officials insist on special perks for these criminals.

Oh, the beating I took for labeling Joseph Farah a complete damned fool several years ago.

President Bush has had nearly six years in officeJanuary 2001 to date is 4 years 8 months in office. Every time I hear the "nearly six years in office", I stop reading. Farah joins the other whack-jobs.

ROFLMBO! These people have become what they said Rush Limbaugh would become when we had a Republican administration. Nobody is paying any attention to them so they have to scream louder and try to shock people. Just like the left, have they gone so far right that they have arrived at the left?

.....has come to the conclusion that a courageous Republican legislator should move a bill for impeachment of President BushWhile impeachment might be a tad too harsh, a good spanking with a stiff hair brush on his bare bottom by his Mom might be just what is called for.

It is unbelievable to me that so many Americans think impeachment will accomplish anything. Impeachment is the last thing this country needs. It is not W's fault immigration has ballooned into the friggin problem it has, Start jumping up and down on your congress critters. They are the one's who have ignored it for 30 frikkin years. Bush has been in office for 5 years and many expect him to snap his fingers and the problem go away. We are more intelligent than that. Many are starting to remind me of 4 year olds stamping their feet and throwing a tantrum because he/she cannot have ice cream before dinner. I have no idea how impeaching a President became such a fashionable way to get your way in politics. Sure doesn't sound like any kind of a solution to me. I thought it was a last resort. Do we truly believe we have exhausted all options? Are we getting that lazy?
Impeaching Clintoon was a huge mistake! Now everyone wants to pull the plug at the drop of a hat. Go over to DU, it is in every single thread. I agree W needs to get serious about our borders, but impeach him over it? Get a grip! You think the country is not already separated enough? Try and think of the best thing for the country as a whole and stop demanding we dismantle it for one single issue. Hell maybe we should have all voted for Kerry and not had a border at all. He would have laid down and let the UN walk all over us. There would have been a stampede across the border. Bin Laden would have been invited to the White House. This internal strife is not helping.
Come on people. Step back and realize impeaching a President will not change the policy at our borders. If Bush is impeached, Cheney steps in and has to pick up the pieces. Since the country will be completely quagmired in all the political BS involved with the politics of impeachment, the only thing that will happen with securing our borders is that it will get worse.
With the worst disaster in our history unfolding in the gulf states I would think our attention would be better served helping our fellow Americans right now. How about we get our country back on it's feet before we throw our President out of office for something every single one of them have been guilty of since the 60's.

I don't agree with many of Pat Buchanan's foreign policy ideas. But on the border, he is 100 percent right. Agree.
